Pain

Do you suffer from pain?

Is it acute? Or is it chronic?

What is the difference?

Acute Pain

If the pain is a result of an accident, sudden illness or some other form of trauma, this is a signal from your body that there is a problem that needs to be investigated.

Appropriate treatment can mean many different things. Make sure you check with your medical practitioner if required or unsure and be open to other treatments, such as hypnosis, which can assist the healing process and significantly reduce the associated temporary pain.

The good news  – acute pain does go away when the underlying cause is no longer an issue.

Chronic Pain

If the pain is ongoing and it has been more than six months since you were without discomfort, then it is very probable that you are suffering from chronic pain.

Chronic pain can continue even when you thought you had put that accident, illness or trauma behind you.

But what is a definition when you feel as though there is no end in sight.

You feel debilitated, isolated, stressed and are in constant discomfort?

The pain has become both a physical and emotional burden and for some, it feels as though the pain has taken over their lives.

Does this sound like you?

I have trouble sleeping. My work is affected. It is difficult to move around the way I used to. I don’t have much energy.  I can’t do he things I used to enjoy.

And the longer this pain persists the more likely you are to also suffer from emotional conditions such as anxiety, depression, and anger.

This chronic pain no longer serves you and you no longer have to live with this debilitating way of life.

You can be free from discomfort, free to do the things that you thought you would never do again.

Take action.
